Pineapple and Grapefruit Juice for Joint Pain

Pineapple contains bromelain that can help in reducing joint pain, inflammation and swelling.  Grapefruit contains contains bioflavonoids which are anti-inflammatory and salicylic acid that helps in dissolving inorganic calcium which can build-up in the arthritis joints and cause severe discomfort.

 

Ingredients

  • 2 pineapple rounds, about 1 inch thick

  • 1 grapefruit

  • 1/4 lime

Method

  1. Cut away the skin of the pineapple and the flesh into strips.

  2. Peel away the rind of both grapefruit and lime then break them into segments.

  3. Place all ingredients into a juicer and blend until well combined.
